2020 VEX Western Regional Qualifier

Congratulations to Robinson’s Team 5139 for an outstanding performance at the 2019-20 Western VEX VRC Qualifier, hosted here at JMRHS. 

Robinson’s “C” Team achieved the elusive VEX triple by winning the Tournament, Robot Skills and Excellence Award.  Lead by team captain Jacob Skinner, the Green Headz put together a perfect day. 

Robinson’s “A” Team, the Red Wingz were tournament runners-up, qualifying them for the State Championships. 

Finally, the Bulldog “C” team was awarded the Think award for their innovative designs and programming. 

The Bulldogs' five teams will next travel to Eden, NC to compete in the Last Chance Qualifier, hosted by Morehead High School. 

The 2019-20 VEX VRC State Championships will be held here at Jay M. Robinson High School on March 7^th.  Forty of North Carolina’s top teams will be on campus seeking to grab one of the six VEX World Championship spots available to the North Carolina High School Division.   Come out and watch what is looking to be the most competitive State Championships in NC VEX history.
