2026 JMRHS Chromebook Collection Information

As we begin wrapping up the school year at Jay M. Robinson High School, it is officially Chromebook collection season. Please review the information below carefully to help ensure a smooth and efficient collection process for students and families.

We have created a short informational video and collection guide that explains everything students and families need to know regarding Chromebook return procedures, collection dates, expectations, and important reminders.

Important Reminders:

• According to Cabarrus County Schools guidelines, ALL student Chromebooks and chargers must be returned by the student’s final day of school.

• Students may not keep their Chromebook over the summer unless directly approved by the school’s Instructional Technology Facilitator (ITF).

• Students must return:

Their assigned Chromebook
Their assigned charger
Their personalized Return Ticket

• Students will receive their personalized Return Ticket from their homeroom teacher on May 13, 2026.  

• Seniors and students finishing exams early may pick up a Return Ticket directly from the Media Center on the day they return their device.

Collection Schedule:

Monday, May 11 through Wednesday, May 13
Media Center
7:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Seniors and students finished with exams

Thursday, May 14 through Wednesday, May 20
Media Center
9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Any student finished with exams

Collection Day Expectations:

Before reporting to the Media Center, students should:
• Complete their Return Ticket
• Place the Return Ticket inside the Chromebook
• Bring their charger in a bag

Students will not be permitted to enter the Media Center collection area without:
• Chromebook
• Bagged charger
• Return Ticket

Students returning to JMRHS next school year will receive this same Chromebook back in the fall, so we encourage everyone to continue taking good care of their device through collection day.
